Inspired by Artists like Michael Jackson, R.Kelly, Usher, Shai, Boys II Men etc. Singer and Songwriter JR (Junior) is taking his step to the world of music.
He was born in the year 1986 in Accra Ghana, where he was living with his Father till the age of 10. His family then decided to send him to Germany for a better education.Due to problems at the beginning like not speaking the language and not having any friends, JR spent the most of his time at home studying his Idol "Michael Jackson" who inspired him a lot.He therefore learned how to dance and sing or let’s say he started discovering his talent. He never hesitated to share his joy of music with friends, teammates or whomever. At the Age of 17 JR signed his first contract with a producer, which failed miserably as the producer tried to change JR from a singer to a rapper. Junior then decided to keep his focus on his education and only perform on b-days or parties when required. He was thereby mostly supported by his homie Maurice (Reece) who features him on his first "singing" recorded studio Track "Sex u up". JR also took part in talent-contests where he was slowly but surely getting a name as he always turned out as the winner. At the end of December 2006, Junior met Carrie aka Carrie-on-music, a Hip-Hop and RnB producer from Stuttgart/Germany. As both are very enthusiastic about each other’s talent, they started working together and presented as a first result of their collaboration the Studiotrack "sex u up" as a foretaste for their forthcoming Album.
